The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has emerged as the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the chairmanship position in the 2026 local government elections – with his vice, Sodiq Olayinka emerging as his running mate for a second term.
The pair secured the ticket through a consensus arrangement, backed by the full endorsement of the APM leadership in the local government area.
Party stakeholders affirmed the candidacy, describing the process as smooth and transparent. The development underscores the confidence the party has in Kamorudeen’s leadership and performance in office.
