Olufade Praises Gov. Makinde As He Distributes Electric Motorcycles To Ibadan North PDP Ward Chairmen
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Oluwaseun Olufade, has distributed electric motorcycles to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward chairmen across the 12 wards in the local government area.
The motorcycles distributed yesterday, April 1, 2026, at the council secretariat were donated by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, in recognition of the ward chairmen’s steadfast commitment and their role in positively projecting the party’s image.
Hon. Olufade took time to test-run one of the motorcycles around the council premises, demonstrating its efficiency and durability before officially handing them over to the beneficiaries.
Speaking during the event, the council chairman expressed gratitude to God for blessing Oyo State with what he described as a kind-hearted, humane, and compassionate leader in Governor Makinde.
He noted that it is rare to find leaders who consistently reward loyalty and hard work, adding that the gesture serves as a symbol of appreciation for dedication to the party.
Hon. Olufade further assured party members who are yet to benefit from similar gestures that more rewards and surprises are on the way.
He encouraged the beneficiaries to see the motorcycles as motivation to intensify their support for the Makinde-led administration.
In his remarks, the Oyo State PDP Public Relations Officer, Michael Ogunsina, commended Governor Makinde for prioritizing the welfare of party members and rewarding loyalty.
He reaffirmed his confidence in the governor and the PDP, stressing that committed supporters would continue to receive due recognition.
Ogunsina also appreciated the management staff of Ibadan North Local Government for their unwavering support to the council chairman, noting that their contributions have been instrumental in the successful implementation of various initiatives.
He advised the beneficiaries to exercise caution while using the motorcycles.
Also speaking, Ibadan North PDP leader, Ismaila Ashipa, praised Governor Makinde as a people-oriented leader dedicated to improving lives.
He offered prayers for the beneficiaries, wishing them safety and longevity to enjoy more rewards in the future.
He urged continued loyalty and support for the governor.
