Oyo @ 50: Egbeda Residents Benefit from Free Medical Outreach

‎As part of a series of community-based activities organised across the state to commemorate Oyo at 50, celebrating five decades of progress, resilience, and people-centred development. The residents of Egbeda Local Government on Tuesday benefited from a free medical test and treatment programme organised as part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of Oyo State.



‎The Egbeda local government organized a day free Medical Outreach to Grassroots held at Alajia/Olode Primary Health Care Centre and Alakia Primary Health Care Centre, Isebo, Egbeda local government, ibadan, and attracted a large turnout of community members who received free medical consultations, health screenings, and treatments.

‎In his speech, Hon. Sanda commended His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for prioritising the welfare of the common people and ensuring healthcare services closer to the residents at the grassroots.

‎He emphasized that accessible and affordable healthcare remains a cornerstone of sustainable development, while reaffirming the local government’s commitment to complementing the state government’s efforts to improve the health and well-being of the populace.

‎He further congratulated the residents of Egbeda Local Government and Oyo State at large on the golden jubilee, characterizing Oyo as a pacesetter state distinguished by its rich history and promising future.
