HON. AKINTAYO SENDS NEW YEAR GREETINGS TO RESIDENTS OF IBADAN NORTH EAST LG

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo aka (O mu Yes), has extended warm New Year greetings to the people of Ibadan North East Local Government, urging them to embrace hope, unity, and peaceful coexistence as they step into the New Year.

In a statement signed by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, the Council Boss, on behalf of the Legislative Council, Political Functionaries, Traditional Council, Religious Leaders, Management Staff, Staff Members, and the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government and its environs, described the New Year as a season of fresh beginnings, renewed determination, and collective responsibility towards community development.

Hon. Akintayo reassured residents of the Local Government of his administration’s continued commitment to effective grassroots governance, improved service delivery, and people-oriented policies aimed at enhancing the welfare of the people.

The Chairman also extended New Year felicitations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, commending his visionary, people-centred, and inclusive leadership, which has continued to deliver impactful development across Oyo State, including Ibadan North East Local Government.

He noted that the developmental strides recorded in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, and economic empowerment under the present administration have positively transformed the lives of the people and strengthened public confidence in governance.

Hon. Akintayo prayed that the Almighty God grants the people of Ibadan North East Local Government peace, good health, unity, protection, and abundant prosperity in the New Year, while also blessing their homes, livelihoods, and collective aspirations.

The Chairman further used the occasion to felicitate with political functionaries, religious leaders, management staff, staff members, and all residents of Ibadan North East Local Government, both at home and in the diaspora, urging them to uphold the values of peace, cooperation, and unity in the New Year.

“As we enter the New Year, we pray that God blesses our land with peace, progress, and prosperity, and grants us the grace to work together for the continued development of Ibadan North East Local Government,” the statement read.

Hon. Akintayo concluded by wishing the people of Ibadan North East Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large a peaceful, prosperous, and fulfilling New Year.
