Christmas: OTOPE Foundation Distributes Rice, Vegetable Oil to Egbeda/Ona-Ara Constituents

Consistent with his longstanding tradition of festive humanitarian outreach, the OTOPE Foundation, under the leadership of its President, Hon. (Dr.) Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, has once again distributed bags of rice and cartons of vegetable oil to residents of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency to mark the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The annual intervention, which has become a familiar and expected gesture among constituents, is aimed at cushioning the economic impact of the festive season on households, particularly the vulnerable.

Addressing beneficiaries during the distribution, Hon. (Dr.) Oladimeji noted that supporting the people during festive periods has become a personal commitment rooted in compassion and responsibility. “Reaching out to our people during festive periods is something I have consistently done over the years. This year cannot be excluded,” he said.

Dr. Oladimeji commended the people of Egbeda and Ona-Ara Local Government Areas for their sustained support of the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, describing their cooperation as instrumental to the peace and progress being recorded in Oyo State. He also extended goodwill messages to residents, praying for joy, good health, and renewed hope in every home as the year comes to a close.

“May this Christmas bring joy into every household as we move forward towards 2026 in sound health. The people of Egbeda and Ona-Ara deserve the best,” he stated.

Observers note that the consistency of the OTOPE Foundation’s yuletide outreach has strengthened its grassroots connection, reinforcing Hon. (Dr.) Temitope Oladimeji’s image as a leader whose commitment to community welfare goes beyond one-off gestures.
