Egbeda LG Boss, Hon. Sanda, Hails Makinde’s Visionary Leadership at Ibadan Central Terminal Commissioning

The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Chairman of all Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to infrastructural transformation in the state, following the commissioning of the Ibadan Central Terminal earlier today.

The monumental project, commissioned by His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde alongside former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, marks yet another bold stride in the governor’s quest to modernize Oyo State’s transport system and improve the quality of life for its residents.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the event, Hon. Sanda expressed profound delight and gratitude to the governor for what he described as “an unprecedented milestone achievement once again recorded in Egbeda Local Government.”

“Governor Makinde has consistently shown that the people come first. His focus on comfort, safety, and the overall welfare of Oyo residents remains unmatched in the history of our state,” Hon. Sanda stated.

He added that the newly commissioned terminal is not only a symbol of progress but also a testament to Makinde’s dedication to sustainable development and urban renewal.

“This terminal is a legacy project that will redefine transportation in Oyo State. I urge all stakeholders to ensure proper management and long-term maintenance so that the facility continues to serve the people efficiently for decades,” he said.

Hon. Sanda, who described Governor Makinde as a leader with vision, compassion, and courage, reaffirmed the full support of all local government chairmen for the governor’s people-centered agenda under the Omituntun 2.0 initiative.
