Inspired by Hon. DoN’s Philanthropy, Hon. Sulaimon Olayode (Sulla) Donates Educational Materials to I.M.G. Primary School II, Oniyanrin

In a heartwarming gesture aimed at promoting quality education at the grassroots, Hon. Sulaimon Olayode, popularly known as (Sulla), on Monday donated various educational materials to pupils of I.M.G. Primary School II, Oniyanrin, Ibadan.

The event, which took place within the school premises, was filled with excitement and appreciation as pupils, teachers, and community members gathered to witness the philanthropic act.

Addressing the enthusiastic pupils, Hon. Olayode urged them to make judicious use of the materials and remain committed to their studies. He emphasized that education remains the most powerful tool for shaping a better future and advised the pupils to focus on their dreams with discipline and determination.

In a brief chat with our correspondent, Hon. Olayode said the donation was borne out of his strong belief that “the only true way to empower the future is by investing in the younger generation, especially through educational support and mentorship.”

He further revealed that his continuous commitment to community development and education has been inspired by the philanthropic and academic investments of the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DoN).

“Over the years, I have drawn great inspiration from my leader, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DoN). His dedication to education and youth empowerment continues to motivate me to contribute my quota, no matter how little,” Olayode stated.

Expressing his appreciation on behalf of the school, the Head Teacher, Mr. Akinola Fadipe, commended Hon. Olayode for his thoughtfulness and generosity.

“Hon. Sulaimon has shown that one does not have to hold a political office to make a difference. His gesture today will go a long way in encouraging these young pupils to take their studies seriously,” he remarked.

Hon. Olayode was accompanied by the PDP Ward 2 Chairman, Hon. Eye, and several political associates, who also interacted warmly with the pupils and teachers.

The event ended with songs of appreciation from the pupils, who expressed their joy and gratitude for the kind gesture.
