Makinde Empowers, Adelabu Employs Trolls — Oyo PDP PRO Fires at Power Minister Adelabu
The Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Michael Ogunsina, has lambasted the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, for allegedly recruiting youths in the state to engage in online propaganda and social media attacks against Governor Seyi Makinde and the ruling PDP.

In a strongly worded statement released on Friday on his verified Facebook page, Ogunsina described the move as “pathetic and unfortunate,” accusing the minister of wasting opportunities and resources that could have been used to empower Oyo youths meaningfully.
According to Ogunsina, Adelabu, despite his influence and access to federal opportunities, has done little to improve the lives of young people from Oyo State.

“This man has plenty of opportunities in Abuja to get you jobs and make your life better — he didn’t do it. He has the funds to support your handwork and dreams — he didn’t give you. He has the connections to make your life better, but see what he has reduced you to — E-Tigers,” Ogunsina stated mockingly.
The PDP spokesman alleged that the minister recently released ₦12.5 million to sponsor coordinated online attacks against Governor Makinde, describing it as a desperate attempt to launder his battered public image.

“They gave you ₦12.5 million to start abusing us and dragging Seyi Makinde, and some of you are happy. You should ask him why his own son is not part of those sharing the money,” he said.
Ogunsina further praised Governor Makinde for his people-oriented governance, emphasizing that the governor invests in life-changing empowerment initiatives rather than financing online thuggery.

“Thank you, GSM. You are a correct man. You don’t dash us money to abuse people; you empower us to live a better life. God bless you, our leader,” Ogunsina concluded.
The PDP PRO’s statement adds to the growing political tension between the ruling PDP and opposition APC in Oyo State, as both parties continue to trade words ahead of the next electoral cycle.
