Hon. Atilola Olalekan (Olacash) Congratulates Newly Installed Olubadan, Oba Ladoja, Hails Governor Makinde for Successful Coronation

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and aspirant for Ibadan North State Constituency II in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Atilola Olalekan (fondly known as Olacash) l, has extended warm congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja (ARuSA1), on his historic installation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a goodwill message issued on Saturday, Hon. Atilola described Oba Ladoja as a rare statesman whose enthronement represents a blessing to Ibadanland and its people. He praised the monarch’s political sagacity, wealth of experience, and unwavering commitment to the progress of the Yoruba race, noting that his reign would further cement the unity and cultural heritage of the ancient city.

“On behalf of my family, political associates, and the good people of Ibadan North, I heartily felicitate with our father and revered monarch, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, on his glorious installation as the Olubadan of Ibadanland. Kabiyesi’s enthronement is a divine gift to Ibadanland, and his reign will undoubtedly usher in peace, prosperity, and sustainable progress,” Olacash stated.

Hon. Atilola also seized the moment to commend the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership and the successful outing at the coronation ceremony held at the ancient Mapo Hall in the presence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“I sincerely appreciate our visionary governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, whose steadfast leadership and dedication to Ibadan’s cultural heritage made the coronation ceremony a resounding success. History will remember this as one of the finest moments in our city’s annals,” he said.

The PDP chieftain further called on all indigenes and residents of Ibadanland to unite behind the new Olubadan, stressing that collective support is key to preserving the dignity of the stool and driving Ibadan towards greater heights.

“This is a time for unity and renewal. Let us all rally around Kabiyesi to build a stronger and more prosperous Ibadan that will remain the pride of the Yoruba nation and Nigeria as a whole,” Olacash added.
