Fresh developments from the Oluyole Local Government PDP Congress have confirmed Alhaji Nasiru Hamzat as the duly endorsed Party Chairman, following overwhelming support from critical stakeholders and party leaders across the council area.
The announcement was officially made by Hon. AbdulMojeed Mogbonjubola (Jagaban), the Arrowhead of the Congress in Oluyole LG, alongside respected PDP leaders in attendance.
Notable leaders present at the Congress included:

3. Hon. Waheed Akintayo Ilumoka (OYHA)
4. Hon. Settle Olaide(Former Oluyole LG Chairman)

According to verified reports, the collective endorsement of these stakeholders paved the way for Alhaji Nasiru Hamzat’s emergence as the recognized PDP Chairman in Oluyole.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that only the Executive Chairman of Oluyole LG, Engr. Akeem Olatunji(OYACA), alongside Dr. Gbola Adetunji and Hon. Afobaje (RUWASSA Chairman), attempted to form a separate executive structure—an action observers described as divisive. Out of the Eleven leaders in Oluyole, eight of them support Alhaji Nasiru Hamzat as the Local Government Party Chairman.
Political watchers believe that the broad consensus of party elders and leaders in support of Hamzat signals stability and unity within Oluyole PDP, as the party positions itself ahead of future political engagements.
