The Nigerian Universities Education Students Association (NUESA), Ekiti State University (EKSU), Oyo Chapter, has appointed Sangodeyi Blessing, a finalist of the institution, as the Special Adviser on Women Affairs and Mobilization under the leadership of the chapter’s president, Senator Razak Hassan Alao, popularly known as (Merit).

Speaking on her new role, Sangodeyi Blessing explained that the office is dedicated to advancing policies and programs that promote women’s empowerment and gender equality within the university community. According to her, the position also involves providing training and capacity-building opportunities for female students, as well as creating platforms that build confidence and encourage mentorship.
“The post is all about promoting and giving advice on policies that support women’s empowerment and gender equality. It also involves organizing training programs for women and girls, mobilizing them yearly through clubs and activities, and creating opportunities that promote self-confidence,” she stated.

Blessing further highlighted that part of her responsibilities will include organizing seminars where accomplished women leaders are invited to share their experiences and inspire students.
She expressed gratitude to the leadership of NUESA for entrusting her with the role, pledging to remain committed to initiatives that will uplift and empower women within the campus environment.
