In response to recent reports circulating in the media regarding a purported Vote of No Confidence passed against the Chairman of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service Board, Hon. Dr. Dikko Ibraheem Salami, I, Oluwakemi Alabi Oloriagba1, Board Secretary and representative of Oyo North, wish to make the following clarification:
As the duly appointed Secretary of the Board, I was neither informed of, nor participated in any meeting or decision leading to such a resolution. At no point was I made aware of any discussions or official processes initiated to pass a vote of no confidence against the Chairman.
In light of this, I formally disassociate myself from the said act and any decisions or declarations made without due process or the full involvement of all Board members. I remain committed to upholding the integrity of the Board and to ensuring that all proceedings are carried out transparently and in line with proper governance protocols.
This statement serves to reaffirm my dedication to service, accountability, and the principles upon which the Pacesetter Transport Service operates.
