As it is often known that politicians rarely keep their word when it comes to keeping their commitments.
Over the years, the chairman of the Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe), has demonstrated that this is not the case, with several people attesting to his description as a reliable politician.
Elder Olanrewaju Oderajo, the chairman’s chief of staff, was one of many who attested to the many good deeds of the council chairman. On his page monitored by bowamedia.com, he provided numerous examples of how he had been a witness and a tool to the numerous promises kept by Agba Egbe. The declaration reads:
“One of the things I cherish most about Hon. Shaib Oladayo Yusuf aka Agba Egbe,(Executive Chairman of Ibadan North LG) is that he takes after his father and political mentor Governor Seyi Makinde
Governor Seyi Makinde openly stated that he had fulfilled all the promises with the 2019 coalition group. And whoever thinks otherwise should be bold enough to come out and prove him wrong. Till today, no one has come out to prove him wrong.
When I went to present four generators to the NUT Ibadan North LG chapter, their chairman while eulogizing Agba Egbe said “One thing that separates Yusuf Oladay from others is that he fulfills promises’
About two months ago, Alfa Abdul Wasiu Animasahun from Ward 8 came to me that his vulcanizing machine was stolen when he went to grace the electioneering of PDP in his Ward
I asked the Alfa of what he wanted from me. Alfa Abdul Wasiu Animasahun replied that Agba Egbe has promised to buy a new one for him. I said congratulations… The man looked at me and retorted, “Politicians with the double talk”
I firstly laughed before I told him that one can go to bed when Agba Egbe promises
The man left. Yesterday, my chairman beckoned on me to call Alfa Animasahun to come for the machine today.
It surprised the man when I handed over the machine to him this afternoon.
I pray that Allah through the governor and the good people of Ibadan North LG allow AGBA EGBE to un the administration of Ibadan North LG beyond 2024″
