Hon Ismaila Yushau Maihanchi, a federal lawmaker elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party is Dead
He was aged 36.
Taraba Youth in Diaspora wrote “On a sad note, we announce the passing away of the member, House of Representatives – Elect, Hon. Ismaila Yushau Mohammed (Maihanchi) Representing Jalingo, Yorro, Zing. After a brief illness, may his soul RIP.”
Mainichi was elected to represent Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency in Taraba state in the last election
Maihanchi died in the early hours of Saturday after a brief illness.
A source in the family hinted that his remains would be laid to rest according to Islamic rites later in the day.
Born in 1986, the graduate of Taraba state university served as Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku.
