Agboworin Commissions Newly-Built Block Of Six Classrooms In Ibadan, Reiterates Commitment To Education

In a bid to improve education infrastructure and provide conducive learning environment for students, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ibadan South East/North East federal constituency, has commissioned a block of six classrooms in Ibadan.

Agboworin had, during the foundation-laying of the school, called on government at all levels to accord greater attention to the education sector considering its importance to the populace and nation at large.

Sarumi

The newly built classrooms, located at Saint Joseph Primary School, Ile-Aperin, Ward 4, Ibadan North East LG, Ibadan, were inaugurated amidst cheers and applause from students, teachers, and community leaders in the community.

The new classrooms are equipped with modern furniture, whiteboards, and adequate ventilation, providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Monumental Legacy

The Executive Assistant on Sports Development to Oyo State Governor and a PDP stakeholder in Ibadan North local government, Engr. Akin Akinleye (Lord Engine); Chairman of the PDP Ibadan North East local government area, Alhaji Isiaka Fatokun (Baba Abuye), performed the commissioning on behalf of the lawmaker.

Alhaji Isiaka Fatokun (Baba Abuye), in his speech, appreciated Agboworin for his quality representation and a lot of projects he has been facilitating in the constituency.

While saying the lawmaker is a representative the whole constituency is proud of, he noted that Agboworin is dedicated to ensuring children have access to quality education.

“This is a very commendable project from our amiable and caring Rep. again. There is no doubt that we are all feeling the impact of his representation in this constituency. We can only continue to pray for him for God to keep elevating him so that he would keep doing more,” Baba Abuye stated.

Akinsete

Community leaders in Ile-Aperin, while reacting to the development, commended Agboworin’s initiative, citing potential impact of the commissioned facility on education as a significant milestone for the community.

They further appreciated Agboworin for his quality representation, saying that the community and school pupils would forever be grateful to the lawmaker for the project.

Also speaking at the event, the Chairman of the PDP, Ward 4 of the Council, Hon. Dauda Adesina (Alausa), thanked the lawmaker for making the party proud with the facilitation of the project.

Similarly, some of the students and teachers of the school expressed excitement about the new facility, saying that they were thrilled to have modern classrooms that would make learning conducive and more enjoyable for the students.

In his vote of thanks, the Principal of the school, Mr Ojo Oluseye, expressed gratitude to the lawmaker, adding that Agboworin’s commitment of education is indeed inspiring, adding that the facility would enhance students’ learning process.

In a related development, Agboworin has continued to improve educational outcomes in his constituency through free tutorial classes he organised for Senior Secondary School students, and this exercise has continued to attract positive comments from stakeholders.

He constituted twelve teachers and two coordinators, who have been impacting knowledge in the students from Mondays to Fridays at 3pm to 5pm.

Presently, the exercise is ongoing at St’ Cyprian School, Oluyoro, Oke-Offa, Ibadan North East LG, while the location for the South East LG is I.M.G Primary School, Alake Academy, Ibadan.

Other party stakeholders at the commissioning event include all the Ibadan North-East PDP local government excos; councillors from different wards and other stakeholders of the party.
