Council Chair’ Akintayo, commiserates with TAMPAN over death of nollywood actor, ‘Bobo B’

The Executive Chairman of the Ibadan North LG Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has reached out to offer condolences to the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), following the passing of a veteran Nollywood actor and its esteemed member, Otunba Ayobami Mudashir Olabiyi, popularly known as ‘Bobo B’.

Olabiyi, who served as the former governor of TAMPAN in Oyo State and who was the association’s National Secretary until his death, was a beloved figure in the Nigerian film industry.

Monumental Legacy

He reportedly died in Ibadan, Oyo State, following a brief illness.

In a condolence message personally signed by the Council Chairman, and made available to journalists in Ibadan, he indicated that the actor’s death was shocking and devastating.

He explained that Bobo D was a delight to watch on the screen, radiating homes with laughter through his style of acting.

Akintayo urged TAMPAN to take consolation in the fact that he led a life of impact, particularly in the acting profession.

He expressed that with his demise, the memory of the wonderful moments he created on the scenes and the comical relief he inspired through his works, will reverberate for years.

He, however, prayed that the Almighty Allah grant his soul aljanah fridaus.
