Egbeda LG Chair’, Sanda Urges Residents to Keep Faith in Better Tomorrow as Nigeria Celebrates 64th Independence Anniversary
The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has joined Nigerians in celebrating the country’s 64th independence anniversary, emphasizing the need for residents to remain faithful in the face of adversity.
In his independence message, Hon. Oyedele acknowledged the country’s current challenges but stressed the importance of appreciating God’s guidance in keeping Nigeria united. He encouraged Nigerians to stay committed to building a better future, noting that collective efforts are necessary to overcome present difficulties.
“We must not despair but have faith that tomorrow will be better for our country,” Hon. Oyedele said. “Although we are celebrating at a challenging time, we still need to appreciate God that our country is still standing as one.”
Hon. Oyedele praised the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, urging residents to continue supporting the administration’s efforts to develop Oyo State. “We must continue to stand with the administration of Engr. Seyi Makinde, as our collective efforts will take this state and the country to an enviable height.”
