The Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Oyo State, has congratulated Oba Olawale Semiu Oyebola on his coronation as the 30th Aseyin of Iseyin.
In a statement signed by the Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Oyedele Sanda, on Thursday, in Ibadan, Oyo ALGON described the successful coronation of the highly revered monarch as one of the most coordinated and unified events in history, giving all commendations to the executive governor of Oyo state, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde for proving again his worth of unprecedented leadership going by the thorough and smooth process of the ascension.
He also prayed that the reign of the new monarch would be peaceful and beneficial to the land and humanity.
Further, Sanda congratulated the sons and daughters of Iseyin and also the executive chairman of Iseyin local government, Hon. Muftau Osuolale Abilawon who also doubles as the ALGON Treasurer, for peaceful conduct, hitch-free coronation and urged the new monarch to chart a new beginning of harmonious and peaceful coexistence among his people.
He also charged the people to give maximum support to the new king to enable him to lead the Kingdom to greater heights.
“On behalf of the 33 local government chairmen and the people of Oyo state, I congratulate His Royal Majesty Olawale Semiu Oyebola and the people of Iseyin on the successful coronation of the 30th Aseyin of Iseyin,” the statement said.
