The Oyo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for his timely support and encouragement, reaffirming their loyalty to his leadership.
At the Oyo State PDP Working Committee Meeting held today at the Oyo State PDP Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan, the party passed key resolutions aimed at strengthening unity and coordination.
The party appreciated Governor Makinde for his unwavering support since the current executives took office. The leadership reaffirmed their support and loyalty to Governor Makinde and his leadership of the PDP.
In a bid to foster unity and coordination, simultaneous senatorial meetings have been scheduled to hold on November 6, 2024, across three senatorial districts: Oyo North (Saki West Local Government), Oyo South (Ido Local Government), and Oyo Central (Oyo East Local Government).
The party also extended appreciation to leaders, elders, political functionaries, and stakeholders for their support and encouragement. Additionally, the PDP identified with Oyo State indigenes affected by the APC’s national governance.
