Hon. Akintayo Flags Off Mobile Clinic Project to Boost Free Healthcare in Ibadan North East

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has officially flagged off the Mobile Clinic Project, an initiative designed to strengthen free healthcare delivery across the 12 wards of the local government.

The four-day programme features free medical screening and tests for women aged 30 to 60 years and men aged 40 years and above.

Declaring the programme open, Hon. Akintayo stated that the grassroots medical initiative aligns with the Free Medical Mission of the present administration in Oyo State, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to complementing the governor’s efforts by ensuring the continuous delivery of democratic dividends to the people of Ibadan North East through strategic health and welfare programmes.

Speaking at the event, the Director of Primary Health Care, Ibadan North East Local Government, Dr. Kunle Adedoyin, urged residents to take advantage of the opportunity to improve their health and well-being. He noted that the results of the medical tests conducted would guide the appropriate treatment for each beneficiary.
